This page explains how to delete your Timz Trimz account, for both the Timz Trimz app and the website. The app is published by the company that owns the shop.
Delete it yourself
It takes about twenty seconds and happens straight away.
- Open the Timz Trimz app, or go to this website.
- Go to your account and sign in.
- Scroll to the bottom and choose Delete my account.
- Type your password to confirm.
If you cannot sign in
Email us from the address your account uses and ask for it to be deleted. We will do it within 30 days and write back to say it is done. Our details are at the foot of this page.
What is deleted
All of this goes at once and cannot be recovered:
- Your name, email address, phone number and birthday.
- Your password and anything keeping you signed in.
- Any photo you sent us, including photos the barber approved for the gallery.
- Notes on your account, your in-app messages, and anything you are on a waiting list for.
- Course and gift card enquiries you sent.
- Marketing records, and the record that lets the app send notifications to your phone.
Any appointment you had booked for the future is cancelled at the same time.
What is kept, and why
- Past appointments stay as a line in the shop’s books: the date, the service and the price, with your name, phone number, email and notes removed. The law requires a business to keep its accounts, so these records stay for as long as that applies, but they are no longer linked to you.
- Gift cards stay valid at whatever balance is left, because whoever holds the card can still spend it. The buyer and recipient names are removed.
We do not take payments online, so we never held your card details in the first place.
